For more than two decades, the Essential Skills for Classroom Management (ESCM) have supported teachers and teacher aides across Queensland to create calm, purposeful, and productive classrooms.

Grounded in practice and proven in schools, ESCM focuses on the everyday skills that make the biggest difference. These essential skills help educators maximise teaching and learning time, strengthen student engagement, and build confidence and consistency in classroom practice.

ESCM is not about quick fixes. It is about establishing the foundations that allow learning to flourish.
